Maybe it's because I grew up going to Silver Dollar City, in Branson, Missouri, or maybe it's because I feel like I should've been born in the time of Laura Ingalls Wilder, or Anne of Green Gables, but I LOVE wooden toys! They are so imaginitive, and even almost alive to me. So that's why I'm hoping that we can win a natural finish racing car from Maple Landmark, via Seven Dogs and a Baby. These toys are not only NOT made in China, but they are made right here in the USA! In Vermont to be exact. You can read more about their company on the Seven Dogs blog, or on Maple Landmark's website.
If you love wooden toys, and you want to try and win the natural finish racing car, be sure to get over to Seven Dogs and a Baby before September 15th.
And don't forget to scroll down and enter to win a $25 gift certificate from Hullabaloo Boutique!
Have a great Tuesday!

Tots on Tuesdays No. 4 -- Featuring aeBaby
No, it's not a typo...we have changed the name of this feature. We wanted to be able to encompass more than just toys. So now it's "Tots on Tuesdays", promoting all things handmade for kids everywhere.
With that out of the way, it's time to announce the winner of the Pixel Bunny from Silly Kitty. The winner is.....Winniel from Winniel's Signature Jewelry on Etsy, all the way from Singapore! Congratulations Winniel! Thank you all for entering to win.
Today's "Tots on Tuesdays" giveaway comes from Amy, over at ae Baby on Etsy. Amy is a member of Etsymom, and Etsy street team. Amy has some VERY cool taggie blankets and toys, stylish nursing covers, sweet bibs and burp cloths, and amazing Britax car seat covers. When we have a little one, we will definitely be shopping at ae Baby! (We're hoping to adopt soon, so it may be sooner than later!)
The Giveaway: This sweet little tag toy cupcake looks good enough to eat, there is even sprinkles and a cherry on top. Made from ultra soft minkee fabric and tactile courdory fabric and 12 exciting and unique ribbons. Blanket body measures appx. 10 x 10 inches and is machine wash and dry.
This giveaway is closed. Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments, and for everyone checking out Amy's shop!

UPDATE: Thank you to all of you who are commenting and checking out Amy's site. She is so excited about all the traffic she's been getting. Take a look at her newest listing. I TOTALLY WANT ONE!! Ok, sorry for yelling. I don't even have a little girl, but it's just so darling, and we're hoping to adopt a little girl, so it works, right?

Happy Tuesday! Today's "Toys on Tuesdays" feature is all about crocheted toys. I have searched all over Etsy, and there are SO many crocheted toys! The thing I love about these toys, is that they are soft, and they are QUIET! There are so many toys out there that make noises, and blink, and are probably highly entertaining; but I think there is still something so simple and wonderful about soft toys that don't make a sound.
Of course, we have a fun giveaway today; Pixel, the IT bunny from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She comes to us through SillyKitty.etsy.com. She has multicolor "pixels" on her lavender color fur. She's been lovingly crocheted from a wool acrylic blend, is stuffed with polyfill, has safety eyes, and is full of Love and computer advice to give. Pixel is approximately 9 inches tall.
To win this cute little bunny, please look in Silly Kitty's toy shop and then leave a comment about your favorite critter in her shop. This giveaway is open worldwide. Please leave only ONE comment. Multiple comments from the same person will be deleted. Please make sure that we have a way to get ahold of you (i.e. valid email address). If you win, and we can't get ahold of you, another winner will be chosen.
Be sure to take a look at these other great crocheted toys too!
