"Back to School" Three Free Ad Spots Giveaway!!

Well, my 14 year old had his first ever day of public school yesterday. We've always homeschooled him, but figured he's ready for public high school. He's so excited! I had to take pictures too, even though he thought it was silly. I promised that I wouldn't send the camera to school with dad as he dropped him off, so I didn't get that shot, but that's ok.

So, now we're celebrating! I don't have to be the teacher anymore! Well, there are those life lessons that get taught every day, but you know what I mean. Not that I didn't enjoy having my son with me nearly every day for the past four years. I did! I was a single, working mom for 10 years, so believe me, I cherish the last four years! But it's a huge relief for me.

To celebrate, we are giving away THREE free ad spots! One will be an Etsy Mini ad spot, one will be a 125x250 ad spot, and one will be a 125x125 ad spot. These ad spots will go for 31 days. You then have the choice to purchase more time. First name drawn will receive first choice. You don't have to have an Etsy shop to win the 125x250 or 125x125 ad spots, but I do ask that you have a website or blog where you make or promote handmade items. It doesn't have to be handmade only, but we would love to feature as many artists and crafters as we can, right? Please, no sites with vulgar, obscene, "mature", or otherwise offensive items.

You are MORE than welcome to give your ad spot to someone you love, if you win. It doesn't have to be for your very own blog, website, or Etsy shop.

To Enter: Please leave a comment, letting us know about someone you'd like to see featured on our blog. Please be sure to leave an email or have a Blogger account with a valid email address.

For an extra entry, you may blog about this giveaway. Please be sure to leave your extra credit comment, letting us know where you blogged about us, in a separate comment.

This giveaway is open worldwide. Deadline to enter is in two weeks: Tuesday, September 9th at Midnight PST.

Happy Back to School!

Your son looks happy and ready for school! Congrats to both of you - big milestone, and I'm sure some fun changes and experiences await you both.

I would love to see Christina at Lucky Gabi featured. We had a tutu designed/made by her and it is nothing short of fantastic!! She was also super friendly and wonderful to work with. If I won, I'd actually gift the ad spot to her, she works hard for her shop and customers. I highly recommend her!
Thanks. laurachilton {at} hotmail {dot} com

How wonderful! I wish him all the best!

My recommended Blogger for you to Feature is: Studio 4 Art. I just learned about Studio 4 Art. It provides art lessons for children.

Every art lesson that a child recieves stays with them for a life time. It's a great gift we can give to our children. It's an inspiring blog! Hope you enjoy it too....

Angie,
Thanks for sharing your son's big step, and yours too! He does look happy and ready to begin a new journey in his life.

I was going to mention that I'd love a feature on holiday gifts, or ideas... since it's coming up, but I also liked the posting idea for Studio 4 Art. A great idea!

Yipee for school starting!

If I'm being greedy, I'd like a feature about me, BUT if I'm being thoughtful, I really enjoy RosArt.etsy.com Something about her paintings make make smile. Especially the cows and trees. She would make a really nice feature.

Keep up the good work, Angie!

I just happened across your blog by finding you through a blog post of yours on IndiePublic. You have a really nice blog layout and variety of posts. I'm going to add you to my blog roll :)

Since I just found you, I'm not sure what to suggest for you to feature as I'm still exploring your blog. But, I do always love to see good fiber artists being featured - like felters, knitters, crocheters, quilters, etc. I guess that I'm biased though since I'm a traditional feltmaker myself ;O)

It was so nice to come across your blog! Best wishes and I'll be checking back in the future.

Btw, I hope your son has a great time this year at school, and uh, learns a lot too ;)
